The Center for Gifted Education runs precollegiate programs throughout the year and are looking for passionate people to make these programs as excellent as ever! The programs and open positions are listed below, 
Saturday/Summer Enrichment Programs (Instructors and TA's only)

For the SEP programs, we invite you to share your expertise with our students no matter the field!

Camp Launch: July 13-July 26, 2025 (All Positions)

For our Camp Launch Program, the subjects will be STEM focused.  If you have experience in teaching a STEM course to  rising 7th-10th students.

W&M Youth Talent Search Program - Camp Ignite: June 18-July 2, 2025. (All Positions)

This program is for Rising 7th-9th graders who have submitted a qualifying ACT score for acceptance.  The subject matter can be anything that you have experience and in depth knowledge in.  This camp will require you to work during a holiday (Juneteenth) and some weekend hours, specific schedule will be updated soon.

The Optimist Project: June 26-July 9, 2025 (All Positions)

As part of the Jack Kent Cooke First Summer, this program supports the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion by ensuring each group studied is accorded equal status, respecting cultural differences, and promoting an understanding of the psychology underpinning intergroup relations. Young Scholars have a role to play in building the society of which they want to be a part. The program will develop the Young Scholars’ leadership skills as they apply lessons from the past to an imagined more perfect future. Utilizing an appreciative inquiry framework, they will identify resources required to bring about change in their own communities.
