The Mensa Foundation Honors Dr. Joyce VanTassel-Baska
Professor Emerita Joyce VanTassel-Baska was recently honored by the Mensa Foundation for Lifetime Achievement.
VanTassel-Baska retired as the Jody and Layton Smith Professor of Education and Executive Director of the Center for Gifted Education at the College of William and Mary, where she developed a graduate program and a research and development center in gifted education. A prolific scholar, VanTassel-Baska has also advanced the field via her voluminous publications {vitae}. See CV.
Dr. Tracy Cross, current Executive Director of the Center for Gifted Education, was the 2009 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Mensa.
