Assistant Professor Kathryn Lanouette is leading a research project that redefines what outdoor environmental education can look like in urban spaces and who gets access to it. Funded by a seed grant from the W&M School of Education, Lanuouette's initiative evolved as a partnership between the W&M Institute for Integrative Conservation, Richmond Public Schools and a local nonprofit.
The W&M School of Education has launched a new Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) in Curriculum & Instruction designed for practicing educators.
