Fulbright in IrelandPamela Eddy, Associate Professor of Higher Education Leadership, and Shannon Chance, PhD 2010, met with Colleen Dube, Executive Director of the Irish Fulbright Commission during a visit to Ireland in March, 2011.

In part, the visit served to prepare for a planned Educational Policy Planning and Leadership (EPPL) graduate course offering in Ireland in 2012.  During the trip, Dr. Eddy presented a paper at Dublin Institute of Technology titled Beyond the Pale: Developing Research Partnerships in Third Level Institutions in Ireland. Additionally, she continued data collection on the emerging partnerships in the Irish higher education system, meeting with the Tom Boland, CEO of the Higher Education Authority of Ireland to discuss the recent release of a national strategy report regarding future planning.

Dr. Chance, associate professor of architecture at Hampton University, conducted a series of meetings with architecture staff and doctoral students at Dublin Institute of Technology to discuss research opportunities and exchanges.
