Half-time positions are 10 hrs per week.
Full-time positions are 20 hours per week.

These rates only pertain to positions paid for by the William & Mary SOE indexes.

*Out-of-state students who receive $4,000 in stipend per year are eligible for an out-of-state tuition waiver. "Tuition waiver" means that out-of-state students will be charged tuition at the in-state rate. This adds an additional $19,018 (the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition) to the assistantship benefit.

** Before taxes. Paid every two weeks throughout the contract period.

NOTE:  These rates reflect the packages provided for positions paid for by the School of Education.  Students in positions paid for by other offices on campus, off-campus, or by grants may receive a different package.  Distribution between tuition and stipend may be adjusted when tuition rates increase.
