M.A.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction – Elementary Education
Become the elementary educator every child deserves. William & Mary’s M.A.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction – Elementary Education prepares future teachers to create engaging, inclusive and developmentally responsive learning environments where all students can thrive. Students who successfully complete our Elementary Education program will be eligible to apply for licensure in Elementary Education PK-6 in the state of Virginia.
This one-year program combines rigorous coursework, meaningful field experiences and personalized mentorship to help candidates build deep expertise in child development, curriculum design and instructional practice. Through close collaboration with faculty, peers, cooperating teachers and university supervisors, students develop the confidence and skills needed to lead successful elementary classrooms from day one.
