Hulon Willis Diversity Collection
This collection of educational books is dedicated to the memory of Hulon L. Willis, Sr., who was the first African American admitted to William & Mary in 1951. Mr. Willis graduated with a Master's in Education degree in 1956.
The Hulon Willis Diversity Collection, housed in the Learning Resource Center (School of Education, room 2076), is a circulating collection of resources in the areas of diversity, inclusion and social justice reflected in the School of Education Statement on Diversity. It is a growing collection with works by a grant from the Diversity Endowment in the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, and additional collections funding. Books in this collection are discoverable in the W&M Libraries Catalog. |
If you would like to donate toward the purchase of new materials to add to this collection, please contact the School of Education Office for Development.
