WJCC Schools has announced that Evelyn Whitt M.Ed. '20 has won Jamestown High School Teacher of the Year. According to WJCC Schools, the three district winners represent “extraordinary educators at each level.” Whitt has received many congratulatory remarks from colleagues including Jamestown Principal, Howard Townsend, "Congratulations to the JHS Teacher of the Year: Evelyn Whitt! Great teachers make great schools!"
Whitt is an active partner with W&M faculty in breaking language barriers for Multilingual-Learner (ML) students and their families.
