We are excited to announce Dr. Jason Chen as CILD’s first faculty fellow! Please join with us on congratulating Dr. Chen on his new appointment.
Dr. Chen’s research primarily focuses on student motivation in STEM fields. However, with the latest NSF grant awarded just this summer, he is focusing his efforts on a new project involving virtual simulations and training to actively mitigate microaggressions and implicit biases in academia (specifically within geology). We sat down with Dr. Chen to hear more about his exciting research.
