Is graduate credit available?

Regretfully, no. Due to William & Mary requirements, it is not possible for us to provide graduate credit for this event.

Is there on campus housing? Does the registration fee include housing?

Participants are on their own for housing. We have made arrangements with local hotels to provide group rates. Participants must mention the William & Mary AP Institute to receive conference rates.

Are meals included in the registration fee?

Breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee. You are on your own for dinner. 

Where will my class be?

Most courses are held at the School of Education. The exact class location will be emailed to each participant.

Is there still space? Your registration deadline has not passed.

We are required to strictly limit the number of registrants for the classes. As clases become full, information will be posted on our website. 

What do I need to bring?

If there are specific items you need to bring for your class, the letter from your instructor (that you will receive in early July) will tell you. Otherwise, bring something to write with, something to write on, something to carry all the books you will get, your school calendar, any textbooks that you have questions about or would like to share, and  any lessons or activities that you want to share. If you have a laptop or tablet, you are encouraged to bring it. 

What is the dress code?

Williamsburg in July/August is hot and humid. Dress so that you will be comfortable sitting inside for much of the day in temperatures between 66 and 72 degrees and walking outside in the heat. Dress to be comfortable.

Parking

Please keep in mind that William & Mary is a residential campus; therefore, you might not be able to park near the building that your class is in. You should be prepared to walk to get to your building. A parking pass will be emailed to you. Please print it, fill out the required information, and display it on your dashboard.

What else do I need to know?

You will receive a number of textbooks to take back with you. Some subjects will receive more than others, but typically everyone will receive at least 2 different titles. Keep this in mind when packing, or be prepared to ship them back.

Can I cancel my registration or send someone in my place?

Registration cancellations/substitutions must be received in writing by [[cfgepd,email]] and will result in a $50 processing fee. Please see each specific session website for cancellation cut-off dates.
