Dr. Mihyeon Kim serves as the Director of Camp Launch as well as Director of Precollegiate Learner Programs for the Center for Gifted Education (CFGE) at the College of William and Mary. Dr. Kim has overseen the expansion of the CFGE Summer/Saturday Enrichment Program (SEP) to Richmond, Virginia as well as increased the number of students participating in the current programs. She received her Ed.D. from the College of William and Mary. She also holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University. Her research interests encompass talent development, career development of gifted students, creativity, and social and emotional roles in talent development.
Susan Doherty is the Program Coordinator for Camp Launch in the Center for Gifted Education (CFGE) at the College of William and Mary. Susan earned a B.A. in Journalism/Mass Media from Rutgers University and a M.A.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction: Elementary Education from the College of William & Mary. She taught in local elementary schools for many years before joining the CFGE and is a certified Reading Recovery instructor.
Katie Latimer is the Program Coordinator for Saturday/Summer Enrichment Programs and Focusing on the Future in the Center for Gifted Education (CFGE) at the College of William and Mary. Katie earned a B.A. in Elementary/Middle Education with a Mathematics specialization from Frostburg State University. She holds a M.S. in Curriculum & Instruction with an Administrators 1 Certification from McDaniel College. Katie has taught at the middle school level in Maryland and North Carolina prior to coming to William & Mary.
