Camp Orbit
This two-week program is an extension of Camp Launch and is designed to provide 6 Camp Launch alumni with an opportunity to participate in hands-on research and mentorship with a W&M or VIMS professor. Rising 11th and 12th grade students in Camp Orbit will have research experience in a lab, as well as participate in workshops on applying and transitioning to college, attend STEM-related field trips, and get to know local college students. Camp Orbit will be held July 13-25th and housing will be provided in W&M residence halls.
2025 Camp Orbit Application Process is now OPEN! Please follow the link that was emailed out to complete the application. We will notify students of their acceptance, no later than April 1, 2025.
