PreK-12 Administration & Supervision

M.Ed. Educational Leadership

The M.Ed. program in administration and supervision preK-12 emphasizes the skills needed for leadership positions in PreK-12 educational organizations. For students who hold a valid Virginia teaching license and have three years of successful teaching experience, this degree can lead to the addition of an endorsement in administration and supervision by the Virginia Department of Education. Students admitted to other graduate degree programs in the School of Education may also pursue administrative licensure by working with their advisor to plan a course of study that includes all of the required coursework.
