Grace Mackert

Grace Mackert is a project assistant at The Training and Technical Assistance Center at William & Mary, where she develops and shares resources with educators to support students with disabilities.  She is from Williamsburg, Virginia, and studied at Virginia Peninsula Community College, where she passed her certified clinical medical assistant exam to earn a certification to practice medical assisting. In addition to working at William & Mary, she also holds a job at PetSmart as a cashier.  Her interests include helping people, running, her faith, and watching Grey’s Anatomy. Her disabilities affect her vision, mobility, fine motor skills, motor planning and coordination, and the way she learns. She has maintained a growth mindset throughout her educational career, which has helped her achieve personal and professional goals.
