Course Description: 

Stories spark imagination—and imagination fuels innovation. In Storybook STEM, young learners dive into a favorite books, then bring the story to life through a hands-on STEM challenge. These activities not only build early engineering, math, and science skills but also encourage problem-solving, creativity, and perseverance.
Each lesson follows a read–question–plan–build–reflect cycle, blending literacy with STEM discovery. Designed for high-ability students, this class helps children uncover talents, stretch their thinking, and strengthen collaboration—all while having fun.

The Art of Drawing

Welcome to Drawing Class, where your imagination takes the lead! Whether you are a doodler or a detail-lover, this class is all about exploring your creativity. From sketching basics to bold masterpieces, we will dive into techniques that make your ideas come to life. Grab your pencils, let’s turn those blank pages into works of art!

 Coding with a Twist: Lego Robotics

Grade level 3-5

Course Description: 

This session aims to introduce students to the field of Robotics and stimulate their interests in science and engineering through participation of the entire engineering design process. This course covers various multidisciplinary topics necessary to understand the fundamentals of designing, building, and programming robots. Students will have hands-on practice and demonstrate how to put together and code robots. During this session, students will be required to gradually complete the design and construction of a robot and follow the constraints and objectives for competing in the final project demonstration.

 Creative Writing

A Little Bit of Lit

Course Description: 

Literature doesn’t just live in a book. It unfolds in myths and poems, in brushstrokes and on screens, carrying timeless stories into new forms. Uncover how stories travel across cultures and centuries—shaping heroes, monsters, and meaning. Designed to spark new ways of seeing the world through a literary lens you’ll connect ancient myths to modern movies, pair art with poetry, and create your own original myth-inspired work along the way. In this class, students will explore how classic tales and legendary characters have inspired generations of writers, artists, and filmmakers. Through hands-on activities, creative projects, and thoughtful discussions, students will: Discover how myths and stories from different cultures connect across time and place. Examine how heroes, villains, and themes evolve from ancient legends to today’s popular media. Pair classic literature with visual art, film, and even modern storytelling platforms. Create their own original, myth-inspired piece—whether it’s a short story, poem, or artwork. Designed to inspire imagination and critical thinking, this course helps students see literature as a living art form—one that continues to grow, adapt, and influence the stories we tell today.

 Geology Rocks!

Grade level 8-11

Course Description: 

Are you curious about the world around you and how it has changed over time? Do you like collecting rocks, fossils, or seashells? Come spend the day learning all about geology! The morning of Geology Rocks! will involve examining stunning samples of minerals, rocks, and fossils. You will learn about how minerals form, the different rock types, and how fossils are preserved in the rock record. Are you curious about how we can determine the size of a dinosaur just by examining its footprints in the fossil record? You will see how this is possible. The afternoon of Geology Rocks! will introduce big-picture plate tectonics, surface processes, and atmospheric phenomena, all of which build upon our understanding of natural disasters that impact our planet such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and hurricanes.
