Utopia: The Endless Search

3rd Edition Online Resources


Utopia is designed to engage students in grades 7-9 with high abilities in challenging reading, writing, and interpretation skills in the language arts. The unit reflects learners need for higher-level thinking activities and specifically focuses on literature that utilizes the theme of "utopia." Additionally, the unit provides an opportunity for students to learn about the search through the ages for utopia and the struggles to grasp and maintain it on both personal and societal levels, while examining why ideas about utopia undergo change.
