Math Specialist The M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration as a Math Specialist is prepares experienced, licensed teachers to serve as Math Specialists in K-8 schools. Graduates of the program are eligible for licensure endorsement as Math Specialists in Virginia. Students who already hold a graduate degree and wish to add the Math Specialist endorsement must still be admitted into the graduate program.
Miller Analogy Test (MAT) The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a 120 item test which is accepted by some programs in Schools of Education for admission purposes. School of Education offer this test via computer as a service to our applicants and the community.

Meeting Facility The 11,000 square foot Professional Development Center (PDC) is the School of Education's main venue for hosting meetings, conferences, and other events in support of the professional development of educators. The PDC can accommodate meetings for 10 to 375 people.
Maintenance and Upkeep No permanent fixtures should be removed, altered, or installed without written permission from the Building Manager.
Carpet Care in Offices: Personnel may purchase and use carpet protectors for use under office desk chairs.
