Kyleah Parson
Kyleah Parson holds an M.A.Ed. from William & Mary's School of Education and is now a Ph.D. candidate at the College pursuing studies in K-12 administration. A full-time student at William & Mary, she also works full time in the Norfolk public school system as an assessment coordinator.
It was her experience as a student in Norfolk's public schools, and later as a teacher, that shaped her professional goal: to one day serve the students of an urban district as superintendent.
"I see the astronomical challenges these students face," Kyleah explains. "With my personal experience and my William & Mary education, I believe I can make a difference for them. I am learning from professors who have themselves served as superintendents of urban schools."
