PI of a $4 million Mathematics Science Partnership grant
Drew Polly '99, Associate Professor in Elementary Education at UNC-Charlotte is a co-Principal Investigator of a $4 million Mathematics Science Partnership grant supporting Kindergarten through second grade teachers' use of formative mathematics assessments.
Dr. Polly was previously recognized by the UNC Charlotte College of Education for his Sustained Service to Public Schools.
Areas of Interest and Research: Research and teaching focus on supporting pre-service and in-service teachers design and implementation of learner-centered tasks. Work explores how teacher education and professional development programs can most effectively support teachers' efforts to integrate technology and learner-centered tasks into their classroom.
