Susan McGowan, Ed.D. '07
Susan McGowan, Ed.D. '07 has been appointed Dean of the Honors College at West Liberty University, West Liberty, West Virginia.
Dr. McGowan said, "The work of building it and putting it together and working with the faculty is currently underway to allow the first Honors College class to enter the University in the fall of 2012."
She has also been named an external reviewer for a European Grant in the Thessaly region of Greece where she works with schools on gifted programming and teacher professional development. Susan and her husband, Anthony Koyzis, have recently been invited to serve on the accreditation team for Aspete University (School of Pedagogical & Technological Education) in Volos, Greece.
Dr. McGowan completed her doctoral work in Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership with an area of emphasis in Gifted Education Administration at William and Mary in 2007.
