Ryan Hews, M.Ed. '04 named Upper School head of Hun School of Princeton
Ryan Hews, recently named head of the Upper School of Hun School of Princeton, is a 2004 graduate of the M.Ed. program at the College of William & Mary School of Education.
He came from The Ensworth School in Nashville, Tennessee, where he has served as Dean of Students and a teacher of social studies. Prior to Ensworth, Ryan was Assistant Head for Academics at John Bapst Memorial High School, in Bangor, Maine, where he also taught an assortment of history classes and coached three sports. Jonathan G. Brougham, Headmaster of Hun School said, "Ryan's creative leadership in curriculum development, pedagogy, and student affairs impressed everyone who met him, and fit well with Hun's ambitious programs and plans. Colleagues praise him as a dynamic, deeply engaged leader who builds productive relationships and fosters an energetic climate of learning for students and faculty alike."
Ryan also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College.
