Mike Faughnan, Ph.D. '08 is completing eighteen months as the Chief, Education Division for the NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan. Stationed in Kabul, he oversees literacy programs for the Afghan Army and Police, English language instruction for Afghan soldiers preparing to train in the U.S., and training for newly assigned coalition members serving as advisors in the Ministries of Defense and Interior.
