Daniel Gardner
M.Ed. in Higher Education
Through my undergraduate career at Virginia Tech, I
developed an interest in the field of recreational sports administration and
the role campus recreation plays in student development, retention, and success
at college. Having obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History in the summer of 2011,
I matriculated to the William and Mary Graduate School of Education and enjoyed
learning about the history of higher education and other topics during my first
year in the program. Working as the Graduate Assistant of Intramural Sports
allowed me to apply diverse classwork - ranging from student development theory
to law in higher education - in professional practice.
