Fall is here!
This month went by too fast! I feel like it was only yesterday that I wrote how excited I was to attend two conferences this month. Being in Virginia has made me realize that I just LOVE fall season. For my birthday, I visited the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond and it was beautiful!
Again, fall is the best!
This is something I will definitely miss when I go back to Texas. Speaking of, I had such a great time at the Texas conference in Dallas two weeks ago. Being back in Texas, in a city for that matter, was what I needed to finish my semester. Walking around town, in the cold, with music in my ears felt like homeJ … though it is not usually cold in Texas. I had such a great time facilitating a few sessions, meeting other grad students, and learning great things! I even had the opportunity to meet a W&M School of Education alumnus. Best of all, I had the chance to see my family! They made site seeing much more fun! VCA was also fun. I had a chance to see faculty and some of my cohort members present. In both conferences I had the opportunity to network as well. As we all know, job hunting is around the corner! Here are a few pictures of VCA:
P.S. 171 days till graduation!
