A Haunted Tour of Williamsburg
I am a student in the School Psychology program here at the SOE. I am fortunate to be in a cohort that is pretty close; we all get along really well. Over the weekend, we went on one of the haunted tours of Williamsburg. We all met on Duke of Gloucester at about 8:00 pm to meet up with our tour guide and the rest of the group. The tour lasted about an hour and a half, and our tour guide took on the role of a woman who passed on a crossing from Williamsburg back to England to get supplies for her store. It was a little chilly, so hot coffee was a must, but overall it was a good experience. The one that we went on was definitely family oriented, but our guide told us all about who had died where, what can still be heard and seen in the houses, and things that have happened since that has caused people to think the places are haunted. We had a great time and it was a great bonding experience. And I can now say that there are some houses in CW that I don’t want to be anywhere near at night!
