What is your current job?
I currently work as a school psychologist in Charleston, SC. I work at a high school where I get to interact with teenagers all day long helping them with academic, social/emotional, or behavioral struggles/problems. I also frequently consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to make sure a student is getting the help they need to be successful.

How did the W&M School of Education help prepare you for your career?
I think the School of Education prepared me in many ways for my career. Besides the specific training I received in my program, I was also a graduate assistant in the Admissions Office where I was able to develop a lot of the skills needed in my current profession.

Why did you choose William & Mary and specifically to your program?
I chose to apply to the School Psychology program at William & Mary because I wanted to go to a program that provided me with as many hands-on opportunities as possible in addition to having diverse professors, staff, and students. William & Mary also is a very well-known school with helped me in my decision process!

What has been your most influential experience as an alum?
I still keep in contact with a lot of people from the School of Education, and I have enjoyed those connections. It is also very cool to see what each person has done with their life/career since leaving William & Mary.
