Literacy Leadership Programs
Get your Reading Specialist Endorsement through the master’s or certificate program
Effective literacy instruction is one of the strongest predictors of student success, and teacher expertise is the single greatest school-based factor influencing literacy achievement. William & Mary’s Literacy Leadership programs prepare licensed educators to strengthen reading and writing instruction, support students who struggle with literacy, and lead school-wide efforts that improve literacy outcomes for all learners. The School of Education offers two fully online pathways for licensed educators seeking to become Reading Specialists while continuing to work full time.
