Virginia PreK-12 Educator Discount Program
New program in Summer 2024
Full-time educators, currently working in a public or private PreK-12 institution in Virginia may be eligible for a 25% discount on tuition for some part-time programs.
Participants must be Virginia Residents, can only take up to 6 credit hours per semester, and must be employed full-time in a Virginia PK-12 school. The discount can only be used toward part-time master's and certificate programs.
The programs eligible for this discount are:
- M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (online)
- Post-Professional Certificate in Educational Leadership (online)
- M.A.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction - Literacy Leadership (online)
- Post-Professional Certificate - Reading Specialist (online)
- Graduate Certificate - Gifted Education (online)
- Post-Professional Certificate - Special Education K-6
- Post-Professional Certificate - Special Education 6-12
- Post- Baccalaureate Certificate - Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Post-Baccalaureate Certificate - English as a Second Language
- Non-Degree Seeking
Applicants to these programs will be asked to certify their residency and employment in order to receive the discount.

Full-time programs, the online M.Ed. in Counseling, the Executive Ed.D. and Ph.D. programs are not eligible for this discount. Students participating in a school division cohort are already receiving the discount.
