William & Mary’s M.A.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction – English as a Second Language (ESL) and Bilingual Education prepares future teachers to create inclusive learning environments where students’ linguistic and cultural assets are recognized as strengths.
This full-time, 12-month program leads to initial PreK–12 ESL licensure and provides a strong foundation in language acquisition, instructional design, inclusive educational practices and family engagement. Graduates are prepared to support English learners in diverse school settings while helping schools create more inclusive and responsive learning communities.
