Two from W&M named for NAGC Awards for Excellence for 2011
The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) presented its annual awards during the Celebration of Excellence at the 58th Annual NAGC Convention & Exhibition, November 3, in New Orleans, LA. The following W&M leaders in the gifted and talented education field were recognized.
Kyung Hee Kim, Early Scholar Award, which is presented to an individual who has made significant contributions in conducting and reporting research regarding the education of gifted and talented individuals.
Tracy Cross, Distinguished Scholar Award, which is presented to the individual who has made the most significant contribution to the field of education regarding gifted and talented individuals, and whose work exhibits a continued record of distinguished scholarship and contribution.
