Host an intern or Volunteer
Next Move Program is looking for internship sites and volunteers!
We are a grant-funded, supported internship program for adults with developmental disabilities based out of the W&M School of Education, and we’re looking for job sites on the William & Mary campus. Our interns are skilled, enthusiastic, and eager to work. We will gladly work with any department or office interested in hosting an intern, and our special educators will help find job tasks that our interns can do for you. Our Fall 2019 internships starts on September 23 and Spring 2020 starts February 10.
If you’re not ready to host an intern just yet, we are also looking for volunteers to participate in programming-related events. These events include meet and greets with Next Move interns, guest speakers for our values units and mock interviews. Participating would only take up to an hour of your time.
