M.Ed./Ed.S. in School Psychology
Support the academic, behavioral, social and emotional well-being of children and adolescents. William & Mary’s School Psychology program prepares future school psychologists to serve as collaborative problem-solvers, advocates and leaders within schools and communities.
Through an integrated M.Ed. and Ed.S. curriculum*, students develop expertise in assessment, consultation, prevention, intervention and mental health services. The program emphasizes evidence-based practice, culturally responsive service delivery and collaboration with educators, families and community partners to improve outcomes for all students.
*The program is a three-year graduate program. Upon successful completion of the first year, students earn a Master of Education (M.Ed.). The second and third years lead to an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree and prepare students to meet the requirements for certification as school psychologists.
