Minor in Educational Studies
The minor in Educational Studies is designed for undergraduate students of any major who are interested in studying domestic or global educational issues. A partnership between Arts & Sciences and the School of Education, the program is offered as an undergraduate minor in Interdisciplinary Studies within Arts & Sciences. Coursework will offer multiple disciplinary perspectives and will prepare students to work with youth or adults or to pursue policy and research opportunities in a variety of educational settings.
Students may choose from two distinct concentrations within the minor:
Please note, the minor itself does not lead to a teaching credential. Those interested in initial licensure to teach in K-12 schools should consider our undergraduate or graduate programs in teacher education.
