Inclusive Excellence

Inclusive excellence is at the heart of our work as educators. We strive to provide an inclusive environment for our students, faculty and staff and to equip our graduates with the tools, knowledge and dispositions to serve as advocates for justice in the field of education.

William & Mary has defined five measurable dimensions of inclusive excellence tied to the university's strategic plan, Vision 2026. These include: Access & Success; Campus Climate; Education & Scholarship; Organizational Culture and Accountability; and, Innovation, Community & Reconciliation.
