As a new student entering William & Mary, you'll have access to myW&M, the university’s campus web portal. myW&M provides a personalized entry point on the web for many online student services like registering for classes, accepting financial aid, viewing your bill, selecting meal plans, accessing Blackboard, and much more. Initially, you will only be able to view financial aid once it is posted, if you have applied for it. Financial Aid packing will be viewable in Banner Self Service. After you deposit, all of the other features of Banner Self Service will be made available.

To access Banner Self Service, you must first acquire your logon credentials — your W&M Username and password. In order to gain access, you will need to visit the credentials form. The form will then provide you with your username and instructions for creating your password for the student portal. On this web-based form, you will enter your William & Mary ID number and the email address you provided at the time of application. (This is the same email we have been using to communicate with you throughout the application process.) Follow the instructions on the website to get your credentials. Once you submit your enrollment deposit to hold your space in the School of Education, you will also be able to view your W&M student record, register for classes, and access Blackboard (instructional tool used for many classes) via myW&M.
