Profile
Jori S. Beck, Ph.D., is an associate professor of research design, methods, and analysis. She began her career as an assistant professor of teacher education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also served as an associate professor of secondary education at Old Dominion University. She has been published in teacher education journals such as Teaching and Teacher Education, Journal of Teacher Education, and Review of Educational Research. In addition to her work on teacher residencies, she also researches issues around teacher leadership and teacher candidates’ use of data. She is proud to be a product of public schools and values her relationships with her local school division, including her service as a member of the Gifted Education Advisory Committee.
