Philip Forgit to lead Virginia Education Association
In a recent announcement by the VEA, Philip Forgit, a 1989 graduate of William & Mary majoring in history and continuing at W&M to earn a M.A.ED in 1995 in elementary education, has been selected to serve as the executive director of the Virginia Education Association.
Mr. Forgit is the recipient of many honors including the NEA Foundation's Award for Teaching Excellence while serving in Iraq in 2005.
