The School of Education will host “When Founding Fathers and Mothers Pledged Allegiance: Nationalism, Race and Division in America’s Curriculum,” a lecture by Jon N. Hale, professor of education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 5:00–7:15 p.m. April 16 in the Matoaka Woods Room of the SOE Building. The event will include a reception, lecture, question-and-answer session and book signing.
