Alexandria-2As an Intern in Counseling, Alexandria works hard to help clients navigate relational challenges, strengthen their sense of self, and thrive in their everyday lives. Using Emotionally Focused approaches, Alexandria supports clients in developing the tools they need to move through life with confidence and connection. Alexandria brings a trauma‑conscious and multicultural lens to counseling work, honoring each client’s unique background, story, and lived experience. Alexandria also offers telehealth services to ensure therapy is accessible and flexible for those who prefer virtual support. Alexandria works with young adults navigating identity and relationships, couples wanting to strengthen communication, individuals healing from attachment wounds, and people experiencing anxiety, conflict, or emotional disconnection. Alexandria also supports families seeking healthier patterns and deeper connection. If any of this resonates with you, Alexandria may be the counselor you’re looking for. ChelseaChelsea is a W&M counseling intern. As an aspiring LMFT, Chelsea loves working with couples and families, and is eager to collaborate with anyone looking for therapy right now! Chelsea typically work from the EFT, Structural Family, and ACT frameworks.  A little bit more about Chelsea’s background: Chelsea was born and raised in Yorktown and is alum from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). Chelsea received a bachelor’s degree in psychology there. Chelsea worked as an RBT for a year after graduating from VT, gaining experience working with families that have special needs. Some of Chelsea’s favorite hobbies are reading fantasy or sci-fi books, doing jigsaw puzzles, and hiking.

Marlon

MarlonMarlon is a Master’s student in the Relationship, Marriage, and Family Counseling program at William & Mary. Marlon holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Well-being from George Mason University. Marlon is passionate about walking alongside couples, families, and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Marlon works with people facing anxiety, stress, depression, relational difficulties, identity exploration, and emotional struggles, always aiming to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Marlon’s approach is compassionate and affirming, meeting people where they are and honoring every background and story.  Drawing from Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, Marlon tailors his approach to meet each client's unique needs. Marlon is also Gottman Level 1 trained, equipping him with research-based strategies to help couples strengthen connection, resolve conflicts, and develop deeper intimacy. Marlon is especially dedicated to creating affirming spaces for marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ and Latino populations. Overall, Marlon believes every individual has the strength and potential to overcome life's challenges and bring about meaningful change in their lives.

OliviaOlivia is an intern counselor pursuing a degree in clinical mental health and relationship, marriage, and family counseling from William & Mary. Olivia sees individual clients, couples, and families, with a special focus on supporting clients in the LGBTQ+ community. She is passionate about grief and trauma work, navigating life transitions, and mindfulness-based interventions. Outside of the counseling space, Olivia enjoys reading (especially at the beach!) and has a passion for photography. Whether you're working through current challenges or recovering from difficult past experiences, Olivia strives to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and care.

Ratsel -2Ratsel, born and raised in Puerto Rico, brings a deep appreciation for cultural identity, family, and community into her counseling practice. Currently completing her Master’s Degree in Relationship, Marriage, and Family Counseling, she is committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges and strengthen their relationships with empathy and understanding. As a bilingual counselor (English and Spanish), Ratsel creates a safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

SarahSarah is currently a graduate student in the Relationship, Marriage and Family Counseling program at William & Mary.  As a counselor, Sarah believes everyone has the capacity to tap into their strengths, self-reflect, and make lasting changes within.   Helping couples and families communicate and genuinely understand each other’s needs is what Sarah believes unlocks the door to growth and healing.  Using a person-centered approach with elements of Emotionally Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Positive Psychology, Sarah seeks to help others become the best versions of themselves, ultimately affecting those they love most. Outside of counseling, Sarah enjoys spending time with my family and two dogs, visiting old friends, volunteering at my kids’ school, and occasionally watching a good thunderstorm.  Over the years, Sarah has realized that maintaining balance is essential for Sarah’s own personal well-being, and Sarah is passionate about helping you find yours!
