There are many exciting activities and celebrations leading up to main commencement and the School of Education celebration.

Important Dates for Graduate Students

Graduate Student Bell Ringing

April 25, 2025 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Wren Building.

Affinity Group Celebrations

May 15 & May 16, 2025 For complete list visit TBD.

School of Education Cording Ceremony & Reception for Doctoral Students

May 16, 2025 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Matoaka Woods room.
(Graduates are asked to report to the Holly room between 2:30-2:45 p.m. for line up.)

Main William & Mary Ceremony for Graduate & Undergraduate Students

May 16, 2025

Walk Across Campus begins at 5 p.m. at the Wren Building.

Candidates for Degrees Assemble at 5:30 at the Sadler Center.

Academic Procession begins at 6:00 p.m. at Zable Stadium.

School of Education Graduation Ceremony

May 17, 2025 12:30 p.m. at Kaplan Arena.
(Graduates are asked to report to Kaplan no later than 11:30 a.m. for lineup.)

Food Trucks

There will be food trucks on campus for graduates and families to grab food throughout the weekend.
