Hulon Willis Collection

This collection of educational books is dedicated to the memory of Hulon L. Willis, Sr., who was the first African American admitted to William & Mary in 1951. Mr. Willis graduated with a Master's in Education degree in 1956.

Hulon Willis Plaque

The Hulon Willis Diversity Collection, housed in the Learning Resource Center (School of Education, room 2076), is a circulating collection of resources in the areas of diversity, inclusion and social justice reflected in the School of Education commitment to Inclusive Excellence. It is a growing collection with works by an internally-funded SEED grant and additional collections funding. Books in this collection are discoverable in the W&M Libraries Catalog.
