John W. & Sue H. Gerdelman Associate Professor of Education in School Psychology Ryan McGill has been elected an APA fellow. He is one of 112 initial 121 initial fellows elected by the board of directors and council of representatives in August 2026. Fellow status is awarded to APA members whose work has made outstanding contributions to the field of psychology. This distinction recognizes McGill’s scholarly contributions to the advancement and application of quantitative and qualitative research methods in psychological research.
