Associate Professor and Co-Program Coordinator for the School Counseling Program Robert Martinez recently published a new article in the “Journal of Latinos and Education.” In the article, “Culturally Responsive School Counseling: Leveraging Assets to Support Rural Latine IB Students’ Academic and Mental Health Needs,” Martinez explores how school counselors support rural Latine International Baccalaureate (IB) students using culturally responsive practices to address academic and mental health needs.
