Jingjing Liu Ph.D. '23 was recently awarded the 2024 Bellwether College Consortium Outstanding Dissertation Award. This national award bestows recognition to a worthy individual whose doctoral dissertation makes a substantial contribution to the literature and/or practice of community college instruction, governance or workforce development. In February 2024, Liu presented at the 30th anniversary of the Community College Futures Assembly in San Antonio, Tex. She thanked her dissertation committee: Pamela Eddy (Chair), Carol Tieso and Mitchell Williams. She also expressed appreciation for the support of her professors and colleagues at the William & Mary School of Education.
