Michael DiPaola
Michael DiPaola joined the faculty of the
Educational Policy, Planning & Leadership Program of the School of
Education at William & Mary in1998. Professor DiPaola's career in
public education spanned three decades, including a decade of classroom
teaching. He served as an assistant principal in a 7-12 school and as
principal of a 10 - 12 senior high school.
Prior to joining the faculty at the university, he was the Superintendent of the Public Schools in Pitman, New Jersey for six years. His teaching and research interests include the interactions of professionals in school organizations, school leadership, improving instruction and the superintendency.
