Shelley joined the W&M T/TAC team in July 2016. She previously worked as a Special Education teacher, Teacher of the Visually Impaired, and Intervention Specialist for Special Education. Her teaching experience involved working collaboratively with classroom teachers to successfully include students with various disabilities in general education classrooms. She earned her B.S. and M.Ed. in Special Education from Radford University, where she also taught an undergraduate level course on Collaboration. Her areas of interest include co-teaching, inclusive practices for students with disabilities, positive behavior supports, and reading instruction.
