Maggie Scott (Higher Education)
Master's student in Higher Education program
Hello, my name is Maggie Scott and I graduated from the M. Ed. Higher
Education Administration program here at William and Mary. I discovered an interest in Higher Ed
Administration through my experiences as a peer advisor and leader at my alma
mater, The University of Virginia. I
graduated in December, 2010, and began my work here at William and Mary in
August, 2011. I loved the program here
and I received so many opportunities to apply what I learned in the
classroom to what I will be doing in the field.
I was a Graduate Assistant for Programming in Student Activities here at
the College, and I loved it! It was a lot
of nights and weekends, but a well-attended event is always worth the work you
have to put into it! I was also a Programming Coordinator for the GEA, our Graduate Education
Association here at the School of Education.
