What's your favorite course (so far)?

My favorite course I've taken thus far has been our course in language development and reading instruction. As a school psychologist, it is apparent that our field has an emphasis on the assessment process for student eligibility for necessary services within the schools. This course provided a foundation for understanding the requirements and proper instruction in reading for students, and has better equipped my understanding of tier 1 instruction. We also had the opportunity to work with students at the Montessori school and learn the process of reading interventions and resources to improve student's ability to read.

What's your favorite spot in Williamsburg?

My favorite spot in Williamsburg has to be the Settlers Market shopping complex. I love shopping, and I feel that this complex has the best "bang for your buck" when you stop by. There is Ulta, Walmart, Trader Joe's, and Five Below all within walking distance. Beautiful!

What's a fun fact about you?

One fun fact about me is that I love anything crafty. This summer, I had the opportunity to start my "Memory Junk Book" in which I collect items from trips/memorable moments and embed them in the pages of the journal.
