About

Khadejah (she/her) is a second-year student in the M.Ed. in Educational Policy, Planning & Leadership – Higher Education Administration program and currently works in Public Safety. Her research focuses on Black graduate students studying abroad, exploring how these international education experiences shape their academic identity, sense of belonging, and professional growth.

What's your favorite course (so far)?

One of my favorite courses in the program has been EDUC 500: Global Studies, Ireland. This course provided the opportunity to travel abroad to Ireland and explore the country’s higher education context firsthand. The experience deepened my understanding of international education systems, cultural exchange, and global student experiences.

What's your favorite spot in Williamsburg?

The Bake Shop has the best sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches. My go-to breakfast before starting a busy day of work or classes.

What's a fun fact about you?

I have traveled to more countries than states, and I love exploring new places and cultures.
