About

Evelyn (she/her) is a second year M.Ed. in Educational Leadership – Higher Education Administration student! She is a recent graduate of The College of Wooster '25, where she double majored in Communication Studies and Studio Art. Evelyn attributes her interest in the field to the strong mentors she had in her educational journey that helped her access a transformational learning experience in which she found a more in-depth understanding of herself in conjunction with the world around her. Her research interests include access and academic self-efficacy, with dreams of utilizing built knowledge to support students in realizing their educational goals.

What's your favorite course (so far)?

My favorite course in my program thus far has been Assessment & Evaluation to Promote College Student Learning (EPPL 525)! I am a data nerd, and it was fascinating to learn the process in which student outcomes are developed and measured.

What's your favorite spot in Williamsburg?
My favorite spot in the Williamsburg area is the Greensprings Interpretive Trail; it is great to go to when you need some miles and scenery to ponder your thoughts!

What's a fun fact about you?
I was a pre-professional ballerina in high school- shoutout Rockbridge Ballet Company!
